Qualifications

5-8 years of professional software development experience.
Strong background in building and maintaining distributed systems.
Demonstrated experience in mission-critical environments where stability and reliability are paramount.
A critical thinker who values long-term maintainability over quick fixes and is comfortable collaborating closely with a technical team.

Responsibilities

Lead the rewrite of mission-critical services from Golang to idiomatic, clean, and maintainable Java.
Demonstrate a right tool for the right job approach; avoid over-engineering and focus on long-term stability.
Document architectural decisions and problem-solving rationale directly within the codebase.
Proactively propose new ideas or solutions when standard approaches fall short.
Ensure code is robust, testable, and mission-critical grade.
Use AI tools judiciously for boilerplate tasks while preserving core logic and architecture.
