QUANTUM INFOTECH SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Java/J2EE specialist to lead the design and development of enterprise applications.

The role requires hands-on expertise across Java EE platforms, Spring ecosystems, Angular front-ends, and relational databases, with a focus on scalable, secure business solutions in banking/trading contexts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of development experience with Java/J2EE, BPM, Spring, Spring Boot and Angular.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing applications on Java EE platforms.
• Strong OOAD and design-pattern knowledge.
• Deep understanding of Java/JEE internals.
• Experience building web apps using Struts, Spring MVC, EJB, Angular, Servlet, JSP, Ajax, JQuery and XML/HTML/CSS/JS.
• Solid SQL/PLSQL with Oracle knowledge preferred.
• ORM expertise (Hibernate/Toplink).
• Cloud familiarity with AWS, Azure and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owner and business to understand requirements and demo changes.
• Contribute to solution design and perform code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Develop UI components for multi-product, highly customizable interfaces.
• Ensure smooth production hand-off to support with training and issue investigations.
• Interact with Technical Lead, BAs, testers and client managers during the project lifecycle.
• Work on multiple tasks concurrently and in an Agile environment.

Job description

• At least 8 years of development experience using Java/J2EE, BPM, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals
• Experience in developing web applications using Struts, Spring MVC, EJB, Angular, Servlet, EJB, JSP, Ajax, JQuery, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, PL/SQL. Experience in Oracle preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of ORM technologies (Toplink/Hibernate)
• Sound knowledge in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure & GCP)
• Experience in Trading applications with FIX protocol and Banking domain.
• Interact with product owner and business to understand new requirements and demo changes iteratively.
• Participate in solution design and collaborate with team for code reviews and design
• Develop components for highly customizable user interface that supports multiple products.
• Ensure a smooth transition to the Support team when a project is delivered to production, training and assist with investigations of production issues.

• Interacts with the Technical Lead, BAs and testers for the project during the project lifecycle
• Interacts with the Client managers for status review meetings
• Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
