Job summary

Trinity Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in big data and scalable IT systems. You will work on end-to-end design and implementation, leveraging Spark/Flink/Storm, HBase, Elasticsearch and Kafka to process large data sets.

The role requires solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and proficiency with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Git workflows and microservices architecture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or technical degree in Computer Science, IS, or IT is preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant Java/J2EE development experience.
• Hands-on big data technology development experience.
• Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge and practice.
• End-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems.
• Experience with Spark, Flink or Storm and related ecosystems.
• Proficiency with HBase, Elasticsearch, Kafka for data processing.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Jenkins and Git-based workflows.

Job description

• A bachelor's or technical degree in Computer Science, IS, or IT is preferred
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Java/J2EE development
• Hands-on experience in big data technology development is preferred
• Good understanding & working knowledge with Agile/Scrum
• Hands-on experience of end-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems
• Solution design using proven patterns, performance tuning.
• DevOps/release management/production support skills strongly preferred.
• Java/J2EE, Java 1.8 and above are preferred to implement parallelism and concurrency.
• Must have knowledge of Spark/Flink/Storm to analyze and transform large amounts of data.
• Must have knowledge of HBase and Elasticsearch to perform CRUD operations on big data.
• Must have good understanding of IBM MQ, Kafka for message processing.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP,etc)
• Should have knowledge of Maven, gradle, Jenkins, UML, GitHub Copilot tools to manage and build project.
• Should have knowledge on GIT, GIT Lab, Junit, Cucumber, Jira, Sonar to manage/test source code effectively.
• Should have good knowledge on Spring, Spring REST, Web services, gRPC, Micro services,framework to implement robust API’s.
• Must have knowledge on Kibana, spark UI, ELK to debug and identify the root cause of the issues.
