Job summary

Trinity Consulting Services in Singapore seeks an experienced Java/J2EE developer to design and implement complex IT systems. You will work within an Agile team on end-to-end solutions using Spring, RESTful services, and the Hadoop ecosystem.

Strong TDD and DevOps awareness are essential while collaborating across data and application layers. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Java/J2EE, 2+ years in big data, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, Maven, Git, and container platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or technical degree in CS/IS/IT preferred.
• 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.

Job description

• A bachelor's or Technical Degree in Computer Science, IS, or IT is preferred
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Java/J2EE development
• At least 2 years of experience in big data technology development like the Hadoop platform.
• Good understanding & working knowledge with Agile/Scrum
• Hands-on experience of end-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems

Must have experience in:

• Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTFUL Web Services.
• Strong knowledge in Core Java (Java 8+).
• Experience in Kafka messaging system.
• Big Data frameworks like Storm, Hadoop, HDFS, Hbase, Ignite.
• SQL & NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Hbase, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Flink, Redis, S3, and MongoDB is an advantage.
• Tools – Maven, GIT CICD, Cucumber, Kibana.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker & Kubernetes.
• Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, and performance benchmarking.
• TDD-driven development mindset with strong skills in JUnit, Mockito, and other unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge on DevOps practices.
