The ideal candidate has around 5 years of Java development experience, with strong knowledge of core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases. Collaboration with product, design and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of core Java, OOP and design principles.
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git and SDLC best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems to support business growth.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver product features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, debug problems, and improve system performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Support CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment activities.
