Job summary

Binance seeks an experienced Backend Engineer for the Tech Compliance team to design and implement scalable, reliable services addressing regulatory challenges. You will work on core products, ensure high-quality code, and collaborate across teams using Java, Spring, Kafka, and microservices.

The role emphasizes compliance workflows, performance tuning, and incident resolution in a fast-paced global crypto environment, with a focus on scalable backend architectures and strong cross-team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in core Java; familiar with Spring framework.
• Proficient in MySQL; familiar with at least one NoSQL DB.
• Proficient in distributed system design; familiar with a messaging middleware.
• Capable to cope with stress; quick learner.
• Good cross-team communication skills.
• Preferred: Spring Cloud and microservice design.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of the core products.
• Communicate effectively with product managers; design and implement features.
• Performance tuning, incident troubleshooting, and system refactoring.
• Write high-quality, clean, maintainable code with best practices.
• Identify, log and resolve compliance issues.
• Collaborate with other departments on projects.
