Job summary

Epergne Solutions is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Java, Spring, and Alibaba Cloud. You will build RESTful APIs, support microservices, and deploy on cloud services while ensuring performance and reliability across the stack.

The role requires strong Java/Spring expertise, Docker/Kubernetes experience, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong Java and Spring framework expertise
• In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience designing secure scalable REST APIs
• Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud services is a plus
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps culture
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and services.
• Develop and support microservices including service discovery, API gateways, messaging, and distributed systems.
• Deploy and manage applications on Alibaba Cloud services.
• Develop and optimize database integrations and performance.
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality with testing and SonarQube.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
