Job summary

Smart IMS is seeking an experienced Senior Developer / Technical Architect to provide technical leadership across design, development, and support of Java-based enterprise applications. The role focuses on payments and regulatory reporting platforms and requires strong architecture, design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor developers, review LLDs, and drive best practices while delivering scalable, compliant solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, SQL/PLSQL, and APIs.
• Experience in Payments and/or Regulatory Reporting platforms.
• Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture, technical design, and application development.
• Prepare, present, and review Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop and support enterprise applications using Java, Oracle, SQL, and APIs.
• Provide SME support for payments and regulatory reporting systems.
• Drive technical problem-solving and critical thinking for complex business requirements.
• Participate in production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution when required.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
