Job summary
Riskdata Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Software and Applications Manager to lead enterprise Java applications, microservices and front-end development using React and TypeScript. You will guide architecture, CI/CD, and cloud deployments while partnering with business stakeholders.
The role requires hands-on leadership, strong debugging skills and a track record of delivering scalable, secure software in an Agile setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 9 years of Java application development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with React and TypeScript for front-end development.
- Experience with Spring JPA, Hibernate and MySQL/MariaDB.
- Experience with Cloud Foundry (PCF) and/or OpenShift.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead software development initiatives for enterprise applications.
- Architect scalable Java-based solutions and microservices.
- Guide front-end development using React and TypeScript.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and Kafka-based event streams.
- Ensure application quality, monitoring and reliability.
- Mentor teams, conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments.
- Perform performance tuning and incident resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and standards.
