Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

is seeking an Assistant Manager, Regional Human Capital Management with strong AS/400 and ERP experience to lead regional IT initiatives and drive effective system support. You will provide system and helpdesk support for WINGS and related subsystems, coordinate ERP support across subsidiaries, mentor IT staff, ensure data backup procedures, and oversee disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT related qualification.
• At least 3 years work experience.
• AS/400 (iSeries) related skillset.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming support for WINGS and related sub systems.
• Provide helpdesk support to ERP System.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve WINGS problems.
• Check the helpdesk system for issues and problems encountered and enquiries faced by subsidiaries.
• Provide solutions to the problems, guide, and coach IT personnel in the related subsidiaries in solving the issues faced (If the issues are complex, must solve the issues for the subsidiaries).
• Check and support recovery for the WINGS by ensuring that backup procedure is developed & practised for all the data.
• Check and improve system operation in subsidiaries through suggestions and feedback from users.
• Arrange and perform trainings for the IT personnel in the subsidiaries.
• Provide 2nd / 3rd level Disaster Recovery support.
• Provide 2nd level Compleo Support
• Design or modify Compleo templates according to ASIA Group's request.
• Support G4 roll-out in the ASIA Group and continue to provide support after Go Live.
• Support New Rack System roll-out in the ASIA Group and continue to provide support after Go Live.
• Support Group EDI
• Provide support to Machine Parts Management System
• Undertake any other duties as required by supervisor

Job Purpose

AS/400 and RPG Programmer wanted for ERP helpdesk support.

Duties and Responsibilities

System Support (Problem Solving & Trouble Shooting)

• Provide programming support for WINGS and related sub systems
• Provide helpdesk support to ERP System
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve WINGS problems
• Check the helpdesk system for issues and problems encountered and enquiries faced by subsidiaries

System Management

Training and Coaching

AS/400 Administration

• Provide support on AS400 server migration, O/S upgrade, PTF upgrade
• Responsible for Yearly AS/400 Backup & Restoration and User Profile Review
• Provide 2nd / 3rd level Disaster Recovery support

COMPLEO Support

• Provide 2nd level Compleo Support
• Design or modify Compleo templates according to ASIA Group's request

WINGS subsystem Support (G4, New Rack System, GROUP EDI, Machine Parts System, etc)

• Support G4 roll-out in the ASIA Group and continue to provide support after Go Live
• Support New Rack System roll-out in the ASIA Group and continue to provide support after Go Live
• Support Group EDI
• Provide support to Machine Parts Management System

Other Duties

• Undertake any other duties as required by supervisor

Job Requirements

• AS/400 (iSeries) related skillset
• RPG/RPGLE/CL Programming, QRY/400
• Experience in ERP applications in Manufacturing/Distributions Sector will be advantageous
• Able to prioritise and possess good organisation skills
• Self-motivated with a positive work attitude
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Willing to learn
