Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore is seeking an IT professional to lead Day 1 and Day 2 operations of application systems within the SSA Division. You will manage project delivery, coordinate with business, tech and security teams, and oversee upgrades, risk mitigation, and vendor relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years in financial/government IT projects, strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in managing and supporting IT projects/systems in financial or government sectors.
• Strong communications, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good vendor management and project management skills.
• Keen eye for detail with ability to plan and proactively identify/manage risks for delivery and operations.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of new projects and system enhancements, ensuring conformance to principles, guidelines and best practices.
• Identify, track and communicate progress of projects, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and risks for early mitigation.
• Organise and facilitate business and technical requirements workshops to bridge gaps between business, tech and cybersecurity teams.
• Ensure smooth operation of existing systems and timely completion of maintenance and support tasks.
• Manage outsourced vendors and/or in-house contractors to meet delivery and operation needs.
• Plan, execute and support system implementations, software/hardware upgrades and security patches.
• Oversee vulnerability management, security scans and penetration testing on current and new systems.
• Ensure and monitor compliance to IT policies and assess impact of new policies with stakeholders.
• Perform regular risk assessments and develop mitigating measures with SMEs.
