Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer (Cloud Security) to design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. You will lead VAPT activities, drive remediation, and monitor security events to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of hands-on experience in IT security and cloud security, with deep knowledge of AWS and Azure security services, IAM, network security, Fortinet UTM, and certification

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in IT security and cloud security.
• Strong knowledge in security design, implementation and maintenance.
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and penetration testing in Cloud and On-prem environments.
• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Security services and IAM.
• Knowledge of Fortinet UTM/firewall security controls.

About the job Senior IT Security Engineer (Cloud Security) | Contract

• Design, implement, and maintain IT and Cloud Security solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and drive remediation actions.
• Manage and optimize AWS and Azure security services, IAM, network security, and monitoring.
• Configure and maintain Fortinet UTM/firewall security controls.
• Monitor security events, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Requirements:

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in IT security, Cloud Security
• Sound knowledge in Security designing, Implementation and maintenance
  
• Knowledge on Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing with Cloud and as well as On-prem
• Good knowledge on AWS and Azure Cloud Security
• Good knowledge on Fortinet UTM
• AWS Security Certified Engineer
• Azure Security Certified Engineer (Added advantage).
