Job summary

National University of Singapore (NUS) IT seeks a Product Design Lead to shape the end-to-end user experience across its portfolio of digital products and services, spanning AI-enabled and traditional applications.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Services, you will lead Product Design as a cross-functional capability, developing Product Designers and UI/UX Designers for multiple NUS IT teams, and evolving the Design System with strong design practices and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design, CS, Information Systems, Psychology, Communications or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, interaction design, or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design across complex digital products and services.
• Strong experience in user research, usability testing, interaction design, prototyping and visual design.
• Good understanding of the commercial AI product landscape and related user experiences.
• Experience designing AI-enabled products and familiarity with AI interaction patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end user experience across NUS IT's digital products and services, spanning both AI-enabled and traditional applications.
• Lead user journeys and flows, prototyping, visual design and interaction design from concept through delivery.
• Design intuitive AI experiences, including conversational interfaces and human-in-the-loop interactions.
• Own and evolve the NUS IT Design System and drive adoption across products.
• Build career pathways and mentor Product Designers and UI/UX Designers across NUS IT.
