Job summary

Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd is seeking a Senior Specialist Analyst to lead requirements gathering and documentation across IT Product Direct-To-Consumer. You will work with IT and business teams to translate complex business needs into user-centered solutions, perform testing, and support QA and UAT activities.

Based in Singapore, you will mentor colleagues, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure alignment with Waterfall and Agile SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer information systems or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Business Analysis with leadership experience.
• 5+ years in Insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile SDLC.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business needs across departments and end-to-end IT process.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder management and scope management.
• Lead interviews and requirements gathering meetings with stakeholder groups.
• Oversee collaboration with project and IT teams to ensure acceptance of requirements.
• Document as-is and future state processes.
• Deliver backlog of user stories, gap analysis, data mapping, wireframes and templates.
• Develop and distribute UAT plans and coordinate testing.
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions.
• Mentor other Senior Specialist Analysts.
