Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related.
• At least 3 years of IT infrastructure implementation experience.
• Basic knowledge of server platforms, OS, virtualization, storage, and backup.
• Exposure to IaC, automation, or cloud tech is an advantage.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and perform after-hours work when required.
• Solid understanding of the listed systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, deployment, and initial configuration of servers, virtualization, storage, backup at customer sites.
• Execute infrastructure implementation per design, plans, and docs.
• Assist in hardware installation, rack and stack, cabling, firmware updates, commissioning.
• Deploy and configure Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper‑V, storage, and backup.
• Perform system validation, health checks, and verification before handover.
• Support migrations and infrastructure refresh with minimal disruption.
• Conduct SAT, UAT, backup recovery validation, and failover testing.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues with senior engineers, vendors, customers.
• Prepare and maintain implementation docs, as‑built, configuration records, checklists, handover docs.
• Support project acceptance, knowledge transfer, and handover to support teams.
• Ensure activities comply with security, change management, governance.
• Participate in maintenance windows and after-hours deployment as required.
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and IaC adoption.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform installation, deployment, and initial configuration of server, virtualization, storage, backup, and supporting infrastructure solutions at customer sites.
• Execute infrastructure implementation activities according to project design, implementation plans, and technical documentation.
• Assist in hardware installation, rack and stack, cabling, firmware updates, and system commissioning.
• Deploy and configure Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V, storage, and backup solutions.
• Perform system validation, health checks, and verification to ensure successful implementation prior to handover.
• Support migration, upgrade, and infrastructure refresh projects with minimal service disruption.
• Conduct implementation testing including System Acceptance Testing (SAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), backup recovery validation, and failover testing.
• Troubleshoot deployment‑related technical issues and work closely with senior engineers, project teams, vendors, and customers to resolve implementation challenges.
• Prepare and maintain implementation documentation including as‑built documentation, configuration records, deployment checklists, and handover documents.
• Support project acceptance, knowledge transfer, and operational handover to support teams upon project completion.
• Ensure implementation activities comply with security standards, change management processes, and project governance requirements.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, after‑office‑hours implementation, and standby support where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for deployment automation, standardization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure implementation, deployment, or system integration.
• Basic knowledge of server platforms, operating systems, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation tools, or cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and participate in after‑hours implementation activities when required.
• Adequate understand and experience in following technical systems/ Technologies:
• Operating Systems / Hypervisors : VMware vSphere / ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Windows Server, Linux
• Backup Software: Veeam Backup & Replication
• Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Provisioning & Configuration: Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Monitoring systems, Configuration Management
• Cloud Concepts: IaaS (Infrastructure as Service), Hybrid Cloud, Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
