Job summary

NETS is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Principal Engineer to oversee the organisation's physical IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, data centers, and on-premises platforms. You will provide technical leadership across UNIX/Linux and middleware, drive modernization projects, and ensure security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of Infrastructure Operations experience, including at least 5 years supporting mission-critical Banking or Financial Services environments.
Experience leading Infrastructure or Middleware teams in a 24x7 production support environment.
Experience supporting Linux and enterprise middleware platforms in large-scale transformations.

Responsibilities

Lead UNIX/Linux and Middleware team, providing technical guidance and ownership.
Escalation point for critical production incidents and root cause analysis.
Oversee incident, problem, change, release, and capacity management processes.
Manage resource planning, vendor engagement, and 24x7 operational support.
