Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience structuring, negotiating, and executing intellectual property, technology licensing, strategic partnerships, or other transaction-oriented agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate business plans, commercialisation opportunities, and translate assessments into transaction structures and terms.
• Excellent communication skills and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assess licensing pathways and determine transaction structures, economic terms, and performance obligations.
• Develop transaction positions balancing fair market value, stewardship obligations, and institutional interests.
• Structure and negotiate term sheets, definitive agreements, and ancillary IP licensing agreements with counsel as needed.
• Exercise objective judgment when evaluating opportunities and advising on transaction positions.
• Support governance, approval, and execution processes for complex transactions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to inventors, founders, and institutional leadership on IP transaction matters.
• Contribute to improvement of transaction frameworks, templates, and licensing practices.
• Provide guidance and leadership to transaction professionals and help develop capabilities and standards across the organisation.
