Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore is looking for an experienced IP Strategy leader to oversee patent searches and provide strategic guidance on IP protection.

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in IP-related work, along with a relevant degree, ideally with postgraduate qualifications. This role includes leading a team and collaborating with stakeholders to advance A*STAR’s research goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably with a postgraduate qualification (Masters/PhD).
• Substantial experience in IP-related work with a strong understanding of the patenting process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead patent and literature searches across technical domains.
• Guide analysis and recommend IP protection strategies.
• Direct IP landscaping and due diligence assessments.
