Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead end-to-end IP network solution architecture and design for Government, Education, and Healthcare sectors in Singapore. You will guide scalable campus, DCN, and WAN networks, and mentor internal teams.

The role requires 10+ years in networking, strong knowledge of SDN-based architectures, and certification like HCIE/CCIE. Mandarin proficiency is essential for collaboration with China HQ and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

• Expert in SDN, SR/SRv6, VXLAN, BGP.
• SDN-based campus network architecture experience.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IP network solution architecture and design, including technical solution development, architecture validation, competitive analysis, and solution clarification.
• Design and develop scalable network solutions for Government, Education, and Healthcare sectors, covering Campus Networks, Data Center Networks (DCN), and WAN/Backbone Networks.
• Lead high-level technical discussions with customers, conduct technical workshops and Proofs of Concept (POCs), and provide solutions to complex technical and product-related challenges.
• Serve as the technical lead for Campus Network solutions, providing technical guidance and mentoring to internal solution and engineering teams.
• Analyse industry trends, emerging networking technologies, and competitive developments to provide technical insights and support future solution and business opportunities.
• Represent the company at relevant industry events and technical forums as a technical speaker, strengthening the company's technical presence and influence within the networking community.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant technical experience in the networking domain, with substantial experience in large-scale Campus Networks, Data Center Networks (DCN), and WAN/Backbone Networks.
• Proven experience in network architecture design, solution development, technical validation, and deployment of large-scale enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of advanced networking technologies and protocols, including SDN, Segment Routing (SR/SRv6), VXLAN, BGP, and related IP networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of SDN-based Campus Network architecture, deployment models, and solutions from major networking vendors.
• Expert-level industry certification such as Huawei HCIE, Cisco CCIE, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in leading complex network solution engagements, including customer technical discussions, workshops, POCs, and technical solution validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
