Job summary

Dyson Singapore is seeking an Associate Principal Compliance and Approvals Engineer to lead IoT compliance and certification activities worldwide. The role focuses on EMC, RF, and cybersecurity, coordinating global certification programs and ensuring Dyson products meet regulatory requirements across markets.

You will drive strategies, coordinate certification programs across multiple markets, manage risks, and mentor junior team members while representing Dyson in international standards

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in EMC/RF compliance, IoT certification, or product approvals.
• Strong knowledge of IoT standards and EMC and radio regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage certification workflows.
• Experience with multi-radio IoT devices.
• Pre-compliance and failure analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Define global compliance and market access strategies for EMC, RF, and cybersecurity.
• Direct certification efforts for markets including FCC, CE/RED, ISED, SIRIM, SRRC, MIC, MSIP, etc.
• Ensure knowledge on technical requirements is obtained, evaluated and maintained.
• Validate compliance requirements within all projects and disciplines.
• Contribute timely information to other teams in approved formats.
• Support the goals of the PD Team in collaboration with senior team members.
• Understand and manage risks associated with product compliance or approvals.
• Represent the C&A Team within Dyson and externally when required.
• May influence international standards making activities within disciplines.
• Identify and/or evaluate areas for improvement in Project Delivery activities.
• Mentor team members and contribute to recruitment and leadership initiatives.
