Job summary

Standard Chartered Singapore seeks an experienced Wealth Advisor to deliver investment advice aligned with client objectives, including unit trusts, bonds, FX, and structured products. 2+ years of banking experience required.

You will partner with the Priority Banking Relationship Manager onshore, use in-house advisory platforms, share market ideas, and run webinars. Hybrid work in Singapore is offered to support client engagement and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Business/Economics/Banking.
• 2+ years of banking experience.
• Fluent business communication.

Job Summary

• Deliver investment advice that meets client’s financial objectives and needs profile. Preferable with 5+ year experience in wealth advisory field.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Priority Banking Relationship Manager (onshore market) to provide timely and relevant investment advisory services given client’s financial objectives and needs profile
• Utilise in-house advisory platforms to deliver holistic investment advisory to clients
• Strengthen the value proposition of the IA team through contributing investment ideas/themes and speaking at market outlook events
• Participate and promote digital initiatives, facilitate webinars to drive better wealth management client journey and penetration
• Provide training to RMs on portfolio construction and proposals, product and system knowledge

Our Ideal Candidate

• Degree Holder in the fields of either Finance, Business, Economics or Banking
• Demonstrate passion & affinity for the financial markets
• Good understanding of key products: Unit Trusts, Bonds, FX and Structured Products
• Fluent in Business Communication and an ability to articulate information, ideas and solutions to client succinctly.
• Linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness; additional language speaking abilities a plus
• Self-driven team player who takes initiative and detail oriented
• 2+ years of experience in Banking
