Job summary

Accountant-General's Department (AGD) invites applications for a leadership role in Assurance to supervise and develop staff, lead audit reviews, and provide internal audit advisory services to Singapore Ministries and Statutory Boards. The role focuses on strengthening financial governance and building sectorial capabilities within the public sector.

The successful candidate will manage staff development, plan audits, discuss recommendations with the Audit Committee, and drive governance

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Finance or related disciplines, with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in audit.
• CA / CIA preferred
• Knowledge of risk assessment, internal controls and data analytics
• Prior supervisory experiences is a must

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement audit reviews and advise on internal controls and governance.
• Discuss audit recommendations with the Audit Committee to strengthen governance and efficiency.
• Develop staff, identify training opportunities, and build sectorial capabilities within the public sector.
