Job summary

D'TRAX DESIGN PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to transform client requirements into practical, buildable designs. You will develop concepts, prepare technical drawings, coordinate with project teams, and manage delivery from design through construction handover.

The role emphasizes strong detailing, coordination with QS, and clear communication with clients and vendors to ensure design intent is realized on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong technical detailing and project coordination skills.
• Good communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in commercial interior fit-out projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts based on client requirements and site conditions.
• Prepare mood boards, space planning layouts, material boards and presentation materials.
• Refine and enhance designs based on client and internal feedback.
• Present design solutions professionally to clients.
• Produce detailed and accurate construction drawings.
• Prepare complete drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections and detailed joinery drawings.
• Develop lighting layouts, material schedules and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors to align design with project costing and measurements.
• Conduct proper handovers to Project Managers and site teams.
• Highlight design risks, construction challenges and critical details.
• Participate in internal project coordination meetings.
• Provide design clarifications during project execution when required.
• Attend client meetings and manage design revisions professionally.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on materials, specifications and shop drawings.
• Review material selections and ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Maintain proper version control and documentation standards.
• Organise project files and update design libraries.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development
