Job summary

LE-RENZO PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced design professional to lead development from concept through construction documentation, coordinating with clients, consultants and suppliers.

You will ensure compliance with codes and industry standards, manage timelines and budgets, review drawings and samples, and mentor junior designers to maintain high design quality across projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all design proposals and documentation comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed successfully and within the agreed requirements.
• Review material selections, shop drawings, finishes, and samples to ensure quality, functionality, and overall design consistency.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior designers while supporting the professional development of the design team.
• Identify and resolve design and technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other professionals to ensure smooth project coordination and execution.
• Research and recommend innovative materials, finishes, furniture, and sustainable design solutions where appropriate.
• Review and approve design deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections when required to monitor design implementation and workmanship.
• Support the team in ensuring projects are delivered according to the approved design, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
