Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture or related discipline required.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and foundational to intermediate Revit.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace interior design projects from concept development through completion.

Senior Designer - JLL

What this job involves:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Designer to join our growing Design team at JLL. This role will focus on delivering innovative workplace interior design solutions across a variety of projects while supporting clients through the full project lifecycle.

As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in managing design concepts, consultancy processes, stakeholder engagement, and project execution. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver high-quality workplace environments that align with client objectives and JLL standards.

This position is ideal for a highly creative and confident design professional who enjoys leading projects independently, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Candidates with strong workplace design experience are highly preferred, although professionals from hospitality, retail, or F&B design backgrounds with transferable expertise are also encouraged to apply.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead workplace interior design projects from concept development through project completion
• Develop and produce design presentations, concept plans, space planning layouts, and technical documentation
• Prepare and coordinate CAD and BIM drawing packages for design reviews, tender submissions, and site execution
• Manage client communications, presentations, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Review drawings, materials, mock-ups, and contractor submissions to ensure alignment with design intent
• Mentor and guide junior designers while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design discipline
• Proven experience in workplace interior design projects
• Ability to independently lead and manage medium to large-scale projects
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
• Experience managing consultancy processes and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and foundational to intermediate Revit capabilities
• Experience in CAD/BIM documentation, fit-out detailing, and technical drawing packages

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within hospitality, retail, or F&B design projects with strong transferable workplace design capability
• Exposure to high-profile, award-winning, or publicly recognized projects
• Knowledge of FF&E selection, material specifications, and interior fit-out processes
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other 3D visualization tools
• Experience mentoring junior designers or leading smaller design teams
• Strong conceptual and creative design thinking balanced with technical execution
• Adaptable, collaborative, and confident working within fast-paced project environments
