Job summary

CPG Corporation Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced interior designer to lead design development, documentation and site coordination for diverse interiors. The role focuses on feasibility studies, concepting, design development and coordination with clients, consultants and contractors.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in interior design consultancy, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop; familiarity with FFE and materials is a plus.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in interior design consultancy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and other relevant software.
• Experience in design development, documentation and detailing; interest in FFE and materials.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies, mood imagery, layout planning and conceptualization of interior design with options.
• Prepare and present interior design considerations to client, consultants and contractors as needed.
• Design development including schematic design, detailed drawings and tender specifications.
• Prepare interior design documents for tenders and quotations, including FFE selection and custom furniture specifications.
• Conduct and document ID meetings with contractors, consultants and clients.
• Participate in interior design project management and coordination, including checking shop drawings.
• Monitor and manage interior design works and progress on site.
• Assist with verification of as-built, defect rectification and handover to client.
• Manage more than 2 ID projects at any given time.
• Engage with Directors on pushing design boundaries and delivery excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies, putting together mood images, planning layout and conceptualize interior design with options

• Prepare and present (where appropriate) interior design considerations to client, consultants and contractors, if necessary

• Design development that would include schematic design, detailed drawings and tender specifications

• Preparation of interior design documents for calling of tenders, quotations, including FFE selection, custom design of signature furniture pieces, specifications and cut sheets

• Conduct and document ID meetings with contractors, consultants and clients

• Where appropriate, to participate in interior design project management & coordination e.g. checking shop drawings, etc

• Monitor and manage interior design works and progress on site

• Assist with verification of as-built, defect rectification and handover of interior design works to Client

• Project and/or design management of more than 2 ID projects at any given time

• To interact and discuss with Directors on pushing boundaries in design, new fields and delivery excellence

Job Requirements

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in interior design consultancy, preferably with healthcare and hospitality experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD, sketch up, photoshop and other relevant software. Ability in visualization software an advantage namely 3DMax etc

• Experience in design development, documentation and detailing. An interest and ability in FFE and materials

• Able to understand Client needs, architectural requirements and provide appropriate advice on interior design layout

• Self-motivated with initiative and a team player
