Job summary

PERSOL Singapore seeks a senior regulatory compliance professional to lead governance and risk management across insurance businesses. The role acts as the primary liaison with authorities, advising on regulatory changes and driving compliance initiatives with stakeholders.

You will oversee local entities, monitor developments in the Insurance Act and Financial Advisers Act, and coordinate CRSA activities, reporting, and eGRC enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field.
• 8–10 years of regulatory compliance experience in the insurance sector.
• Solid knowledge of Insurance Act and Financial Advisers Act and related guidelines.
• Strong leadership abilities and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Adaptable and able to embrace change.
• Proactive and self-motivated with independent and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary regulatory liaison with authorities, coordinating inspections and information requests.
• Provide compliance advisory on regulatory requirements and support business initiatives.
• Oversee local entities on compliance matters, including localisation of group policies.
• Identify and assess impact of regulatory developments and emerging risks.
• Manage compliance incidents, ensure timely reporting and action tracking.
• Initiate Compliance Requirement Self Assessments (CRSA) for applicable laws.
• Support enhancements to the eGRC system and assist testing.
• Prepare and coordinate compliance-related materials for management meetings.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks/projects as delegated by supervisor or Head of Group Regulatory Compliance.
