Job summary

vertexsolutions seeks a senior professional for Portfolio Management – Infrastructure / Private Equity at fund and platform level in Singapore. You will oversee portfolio performance, assess ESG and financial metrics, and engage with boards to drive value and strategic decisions.

The role requires 15+ years in relevant investing disciplines, with leadership experience and a proven track record in capital allocation, governance, and exit strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in infrastructure investing, private equity, asset management or strategy advisory with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong track record in portfolio oversight and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance management of the investment portfolio aligning with returns and risk targets.
• Monitor ESG performance and operational/financial metrics of portfolio assets.
• Analyse portfolio composition considering macro conditions and risk-adjusted returns.
• Present recommendations on allocation and strategy to senior stakeholders.
• Engage with investee company boards and leadership as shareholder representative.
• Drive governance and decision-making processes including approvals and initiatives.
• Provide long-term strategic guidance on business plans and capital structure.
• Lead investment activity from thesis to execution, including M&A and asset recycling.
• Conduct hold-vs-sell analyses and develop exit strategies to maximise value.
• Support capital raising processes, including deal structuring and investor communications.
• Other duties as assigned
