Job summary

Kerry Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Specialist to secure, operate and enhance a hybrid IT environment across network, cloud and Microsoft 365 platforms. The role combines hands-on infrastructure operations, network security, Zero Trust and cybersecurity projects, working with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT infra experience; ≥3 years in infra/security engineering.
• Experience with hybrid on-premise and cloud environments.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto, Prisma Access, Cisco, Meraki, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong ownership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willing to provide after-hours support when required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure network infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, segmentation).
• Manage Palo Alto Prisma Access / ZTNA for remote users, offices, SaaS, data centres.
• Secure Azure and AWS environments via IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring.
• Monitor and respond to network, cloud, SIEM and EASM security alerts.
• Lead vulnerability management, penetration testing, security audits and hardening.
• Support incident response, CSIRT processes, security drills and DLP implementation.
• Oversee network, cloud and Microsoft 365 availability, performance and security.
• Manage incidents, root-cause analysis, escalations with external IT/SOC vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure network infrastructure across firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS and network segmentation.


• Manage Palo Alto Prisma Access / ZTNA, supporting remote users, offices, SaaS, data centres and private applications.


• Secure Azure and AWS environments through IAM, encryption, logging and monitoring.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.


• Minimum 5 years' IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in infrastructure/security engineering.


• Strong experience supporting hybrid on-premise and cloud environments.


• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Prisma Access, Cisco, Meraki, Microsoft Sentinel, Qualys/Nessus, Azure and/or AWS.


• Experience in Zero Trust, network security, vulnerability management and incident response.


• Independent, hands-on problem solver with strong ownership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.


• Comfortable providing occasional support outside standard business hours when operationally required.
