Job summary

DADACONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to strengthen cybersecurity across enterprise platforms. You will manage tools like PAM, data activity monitoring, and DLP, while supporting migrations and automated security workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field; Master’s degree is a bonus.
• Minimum 3 years hands‑on cybersecurity operations and enterprise security tool management.
• Experience with PAM, data activity monitoring, file integrity monitoring, or endpoint DLP solutions; familiarity with vulnerability tools (Tenable/Nessus) is a bonus.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration; familiarity with SIEM/security monitoring platforms.
• Scripting/automation proficiency (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) with a track record of applying automation/AI in security operations is a bonus.
• Certifications such as CISSP or platform-specific security certs are a bonus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects and drive improvements.
• Familiarity with Singapore government security standards or CSA IM8, or financial sector regs is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise security platforms including PAM, data activity monitoring, and EPP/EDR solutions.
• Lead security infrastructure projects like system hardening and platform migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to vulnerabilities and threats with timely mitigations and patching.
• Support architectural planning and deployment of managed security tools in data centres, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to embed security controls across systems and projects.
• Assist SOC in investigating incidents and recommending remediation actions.
• Identify AI-driven automation opportunities to streamline workflows, alert triage, anomaly detection, and audit reporting.
• Develop scripts and integrations to improve team efficiency and produce SOPs.

About the Role

Our client is a well-established public-sector technology organisation in Singapore, responsible for managing critical national infrastructure and digital systems. They are seeking a Security Operations Engineer to manage and strengthen their cybersecurity posture across a broad range of enterprise security platforms and tools. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of hands-on security operations, infrastructure modernisation, and intelligent automation - offering the opportunity to shape how AI and automation are adopted within a mature security operations function. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise security platforms covering privileged access management , data activity monitoring, file integrity monitoring, and endpoint data loss prevention solutions
• Execute security infrastructure projects including system hardening, platform migrations, and consolidations, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations
• Monitor and respond to security vulnerabilities and emerging threats, implementing timely mitigation measures, patches, and configuration controls
• Support and contribute to architectural planning and implementation of managed security tools within data centre environments, including cloud and hybrid infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and operations teams to ensure security controls are embedded across all systems, deployments, and technology projects
• Support the Security Operations Centre (SOC) in investigating and analysing security incidents, and recommending appropriate remediation actions
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation opportunities to streamline repetitive security workflows, alert triage, anomaly detection, and audit reporting processes
• Develop scripts, integrations, and reusable solutions to improve team efficiency, and produce clear technical documentation and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master's degree (is a bonus)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and enterprise security tool management
• Demonstrated experience with privileged access management platforms, data activity monitoring, file integrity monitoring, or endpoint DLP solutions; familiarity with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or Nessus (is a bonus)
• Experience with system administration on Windows and Linux platforms, and familiarity with SIEM tools or security monitoring platforms
• Proficiency in scripting or automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Ansible, with a proven track record of applying automation or AI tools to improve security operations (is a bonus)
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, or platform-specific security certifications (is a bonus)
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, engage stakeholders effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives independently
