Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead design, deployment, and management of critical IT infrastructure. You will drive automation with IaC, oversee virtualization, and ensure security and scalability across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

The role requires 7+ years in infrastructure/IT operations, 3+ years in senior/architect capacity, deep cloud and virtualization expertise, and strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Singapore Citizen required for government project
• 7+ years in infrastructure engineering or IT operations management
• 3+ years in senior/lead/architect role
• Proven cloud experience AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong virtualization knowledge VMware/Hyper-V/KVM
• Proficient scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell
• IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Networking, security protocols, firewall management
• Monitoring/logging with Prometheus/ELK/Splunk
• ITIL/ITSM experience and DR/BC planning
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure incl. servers, storage, networking, cloud
• Manage virtualization for high availability and disaster recovery
• Develop and implement IaC to automate provisioning and config
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis
• Monitor performance and capacity with logging/monitoring tools
• Enforce IT operations standards and security protocols
• Mentor junior engineers and guide teams
• Collaborate with security, networking, apps teams
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new tech
• Document architecture, configurations, and procedures
• Participate in ITSM processes and continuous improvement
