Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead design, deployment, and management of its critical IT infrastructure. You will mentor junior engineers, drive IaC automation, and collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to ensure scalable, secure systems.

The role emphasizes incident response, DR planning, and standards-driven operations across enterprise environments, with a strong focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or IT operations management.
• 3+ years in a senior, lead, or architect-level infrastructure role.
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of networking, security protocols and firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring/logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) frameworks and best practices.
• Disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, networking and cloud.
• Manage and optimize virtualization environments for high availability and DR.
• Develop and implement IaC solutions to automate provisioning and config management.
• Lead incident response, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor performance, capacity planning, and leverage logging tools for optimization.
• Establish IT operations standards, security protocols, and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to align infra with business goals.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance capabilities.
• Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures.
