Ideal candidates have 10+ years in IT infrastructure project management, strong knowledge of networking, and certifications such as PMP/ITIL. Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow is preferred.

Qualifications

About the job Senior Infra Network Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading and managing infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, and storage and systems, combined with solid project management skills to oversee the implementation of complex IT network and infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables are defined.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to define project requirements, address issues, and manage expectations.
• Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring the availability of the necessary tools, technologies, and personnel for successful project completion.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines, budget, or quality, implementing contingency plans when necessary.
• Budget Oversight: Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all network designs, implementations, and configurations adhere to organizational standards and industry best practices.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including negotiations, performance tracking, and ensuring deliverables meet required standards.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and create detailed reports outlining timelines, resource utilization, and any deviations from the original plan.
• Post-Implementation Support: Ensure a smooth transition of the completed network solution into the operational environment, supporting testing, troubleshooting, and training as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience focusing on IT infrastructure project management across numerous technology areas. Past experiences with project management of enterprise technology refreshes and the delivery infrastructure builds within a banking environment.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale Infrastructure projects from concept to deployment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or relevant infrastructure certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Microsoft MCSE.) are highly preferred.
• Experience with project management tools, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of networking technologies, including Software-defined Network (SDN), LAN/WAN, firewalls, IPS, routers, switches, and cloud-based networking solutions would be an advantage
