Job summary

ResMed Inc. is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead analysis, design, and optimisation of manufacturing systems.

You will apply Lean, data analytics, and automation principles to improve safety, productivity, capacity, and cost across manufacturing and logistics operations. You will drive end-to-end material flow improvements, develop capacity models, and lead Lean/continuous-improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related discipline; 5–8+ years manufacturing/IE experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities; establish standard work and labor standards; drive Lean/continuous-improvement initiatives.
Design and optimise end-to-end material flow; implement Kanban, milk runs, and supermarkets; collaborate with Supply Chain and 3PL teams.
Conduct space planning, layout standards, and capacity analysis for Lean flow and automation readiness; lead factory transformation projects.
Develop capacity models accounting for labor, equipment, space, and material handling; perform scenario analyses.
Develop IE methodologies, calculation models, and engineering guidelines; ensure compliance with EHS and regulatory requirements.
Analyse operational data to identify losses and improvements; develop KPIs and performance models; validate benefits.
Provide technical leadership; mentor junior IE staff; facilitate cross-functional workshops.
