Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead maintenance, improvement and modernization of automation systems in a manufacturing environment.

You will design and implement control logic and HMI interfaces, develop SCADA/DCS solutions, troubleshoot complex issues and mentor junior engineers while working closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams. Experience with ABB 800xA, Siemens PLCs and Fix32 SCADA is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• Min. 5 years of industrial automation experience.
• Experience leading automation projects and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ABB 800xA DCSSchneider, Siemens PLC programming, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems.
• Ensure high system availability and minimise downtime.
• Design, develop and implement new automation systems.
• Develop control logic and HMI interfaces, and integrate SCADA & DCS systems.
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Support automated equipment including robots, applicators and smart devices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability and productivity.
• Lead system upgrades and automation modernisation projects.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards and procedures.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams.
