Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a Scientist/Senior Scientist in Immunology and Therapeutic Development to advance next-generation immunotherapies from discovery through preclinical and IND-enabling development. You will contribute to nucleic acid-based therapeutic platforms and translational research, assay development, and program progression.

The role requires a PhD with extensive immunology and translational research experience, hands-on flow cytometry, and strong scientific communication.

Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Significant postdoctoral and/or industry experience in biotech/pharma translational research.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute research and development strategies across multiple programs.
• Develop and optimise lab methods for nucleic acid-based modalities (expression, activity, stability).
• Design and execute in vitro studies to evaluate therapeutic responses, MOA, and activity.
• Maintain awareness of literature and technologies in immunology and related fields.
• Independently develop protocols, SOPs, and ensure quality and regulatory readiness.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to regulatory documentation supporting program advancement.
• Train and mentor junior scientists and lab personnel.
• Collaborate with discovery, translational, analytical, and development teams.
• Maintain accurate records and data integrity in ELN/LIMS systems.
• Support tech transfer and external partner activities.
