Job summary

Merck in Singapore is seeking a Senior Specialist, Data Science (AI/ML Imaging & Omics) to drive biomarker analytics and drug discovery innovations. You will work at the intersection of imaging, omics, big data and biobanks to derive robust biomarkers and inform target validation within a biomedical research setting.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, publish findings, and contribute to study design and analytics strategy in a state-of-the-art lab in Biopolis.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with strong AI/ML and biomedical data science background.
• Experience in AI/ML, medical image analysis or biomedical data science.
• Strong background in computer vision and deep learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML and image analysis methods for multimodal medical images and omics data.
• Design validated AI-enabled imaging analytics pipelines and biomarkers.
• Integrate imaging phenotypes with molecular and clinical data for interpretation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on project deliverables.
• Communicate results through proposals, reports and publications.
