Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer (Instrumentation, Control and Automation) to support operation, maintenance, upgrading and implementation of ICA systems at water treatment facilities. You may be deployed to one of PUB's installations in Singapore.

Role involves leading maintenance activities, supporting SCADA/PLC projects, managing ICA assets and contributing to OT cybersecurity compliance. Strong engineering background and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Senior candidates may be considered for higher roles.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with ICA, SCADA, PLC, automation or OT cybersecurity is advantageous.
• Exposure to Python and platforms like Ignition, and familiarity with PLC brands will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan and implement maintenance for Instrumentation and ICA equipment to ensure reliability.
• Support or implement analyser, instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, control systems and automation projects.
• Manage ICA assets, spares, lifecycle replacements and related maintenance contracts.
• Troubleshoot and perform breakdown maintenance for ICA systems, including after-hours support as needed.
• Support OT cybersecurity compliance for ICA and control systems, including audits and vulnerability remediation.
• Prepare quotations and tenders for ICA maintenance, replacement and upgrades.
• Stay updated on new technologies to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams, plant operations, consultants, contractors and vendors.
