Job summary

Ethos Search Associates Pte Ltd invites a detail‑driven silicon verification engineer to join our hardware team in Singapore. You will verify silicon function, optimize performance during bring‑up, and bench‑characterize IP to ensure robust operation.

You will debug silicon issues, perform high‑speed I/O protocol tests, and contribute to test methodologies with Python, C/C++, and TCL. Relevant lab equipment such as oscillosopes and analyzers are used.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 1+ year experience in high speed Serdes design/verification and characterization.
• Knowledge of interconnect standards such as PCIe, JESD, IEEE 802.3.
• Familiar with Python, C/C++, TCL for firmware development and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Verify silicon function and optimize performance during bring-up.
• Characterize and validate silicon/IP on bench.
• Debug and resolve silicon issues.
• Conduct high-speed I/O protocol tests with emphasis on compliance.

Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for silicon function verification, performance optimization and silicon bring up
• Responsible for bench characterization and validation of Silicon/ IP
• Debug and resolve silicon issues
• Perform protocol compliance tests with a focus on high speed I/O

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering
• 1 year or more of experience in high speed I/O Serdes design/ validation, pre/ post-silicon verification, characterization
• Basic knowledge of interconnect standard such as PCIe, JESD, IEEE802.3
• Familiar with coding languages such as Python, C/C++, TCL for firmware development, test methodology development and test automation
• Knowledge and hands on experience with typical lab equipment such as BERT, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, PNA/VNA
• Experience in system level serial link analysis and simulation, system performance optimization using tools such as Python, Matlab, ADS etc. is an added advantage.
