Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking an IBM AIX Level 3 Support Engineer to join our IT team. You will provide advanced support for IBM AIX, manage virtualization (PowerVM VIOS, SR-IOV, SEA, HACMP), and lead patching using BigFix.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable IT infrastructure and maintain thorough documentation. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of hands-on experience with AIX environments, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and relevant IBM

Qualifications

6+ years experience managing complex IBM AIX environments.
Strong knowledge of IBM AIX operating system and virtualization technologies (SR-IOV, SEA, PowerVM VIOS, HACMP).
Experience with BigFix patch management for AIX systems.
Certifications such as IBM Certified Specialist - Power Systems or IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 support for IBM AIX operating systems and related technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues on IBM AIX systems.
Perform system administration tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of AIX servers.
Manage virtualization technologies and ensure integration with the IT infrastructure.
Develop, update, and maintain documentation related to AIX systems and configurations.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents.
