Job summary

HANWHA OCEAN GLOBAL PROJECT EXECUTION CENTER PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced ECIT Design & System Integration Lead for offshore/onshore oil and gas projects in Singapore.

You will develop ECIT design concepts covering Electrical, Control, Instrumentation and Telecom systems while ensuring compliance with project specs and international standards. Lead multi-discipline design reviews, coordinate with vendors, mentor junior engineers, and support verification, FAT/SAT, and commissioning

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in offshore or onshore oil and gas.
• Minimum 5 years' experience at a top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor.
• Minimum 1 FPSO FEED/EPCI Project experience as a Topside InstrumentDesigner.
• Well versed with AVEVA platform and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead ECIT Design & System Integration for Electrical, Control, Instrumentation and Telecom systems.
• Produce and review deliverables such as diagrams, narratives, architectures, telecom block diagrams, and cable engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors to ensure design interfaces and standards compliance.
• Perform design verification, review SQs/NCRs, and support FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead ECIT Design & System Integration

• Develop overall ECIT design concepts covering Electrical, Control, Instrumentation and Telecom systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards
• Produce, review, and validate detailed deliverables such as single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, control narratives, network architecture, telecom block diagrams, and cable engineering deliverables
• Ensure seamless system integration across power distribution, control systems, instrumentation architecture, safety systems, and telecom networks

Interdisciplinary Coordination & Technical Governance

• Lead multidiscipline design reviews with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Safety, and Marine teams to ensure full topside interface alignment
• Coordinate with vendors and package suppliers on ECIT-related technical clarifications, system requirements, and interface control documents
• Guide and mentor junior designers/engineers, ensuring adherence to ECIT design standards, best practices, and quality expectations.

Quality Assurance, Verification & Project Execution Support

• Perform design verification, compliance checks, and constructability reviews across ECIT systems to ensure technical accuracy and operational reliability
• Support procurement, FAT/SAT, installation, integration testing, and commissioning by reviewing vendor packages and resolving technical queries
• Identify risks across electrical, control, instrumentation, and telecom systems, propose mitigation strategies, and manage resolution of SQs, NCRs, interface issues, and design changes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry
• Minimum consecutive 5 years' experience at top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor (minimum 5 years continuous working experience in the same contractor)
• Minimum 1 FPSO FEED/EPCI Project experience as a Topside InstrumentDesigner
• Well Versed with Process Design Tool such as AVEVA platform
• Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills
