Job summary

Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Lead HSSE Officer (Projects) to support the TPD Construction Team in achieving HSSE KPIs across all project phases. The role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders to identify, manage, and resolve HSSE risks on-site.

You will lead on-site HSSE efforts, work with EPC contractors and subcontractors to enforce standards, train workforce, and drive a disciplined, incident-free construction environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in an Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering discipline or related field.
• At least 8-10 years’ experience as HSSE Lead in marine, oil & gas or petrochemical industries with construction project experience.
• Proficient in SHMS such as SS651:2019 and/or ISO 45001:2018.
• Registered WSH Coordinator/Officer in Singapore MOM.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management to attain HSSE objectives/intent.
• On-site safety ambassador with conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Review EPC contractor's Project HSSE Plan, Risk Assessments (RAs), Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and oversee the PTW system.
• Conduct daily site walks, weekly HSSE inspections, and joint audits with EPC & Internal Stakeholders.
• Ensure systems, emergency response plan and training programs are in place to manage worksite risks and workforce competency.
• Establish adequate systems and barriers for safe work execution and manage HSSE risks via 5 hierarchy of controls.
• Promote a culture of BBSO on site and use HSSE data analysis to drive improvements.
• Oversee safety during jetty upgrades, civil earth/piling, mechanical installation, piping hotworks, E&I cabling, etc.
• Prepare monthly project HSSE reports including safety manhours.
• Organize/conduct safety campaigns aligned with upcoming activities.
