Job description
  • Human Resources Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable employment laws, legal requirements, and government reporting regulations impacting HR functions; ensure organizational policies, procedures, and reporting remain compliant.

  • Partner with Operations leadership, managers, and cross-functional departments to execute HR programs; provide feedback on program utilization, effectiveness, strengths, and challenges.

  • Assist in developing innovative, efficient, and cost-effective HR strategies, programs, and processes.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of staff positions and build strategic partnerships with managers and department leaders.

  • Maintain accurate personnel records, including hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics required for internal and government reporting.

  • Confidentially manage sensitive employee and company records in compliance with data privacy requirements.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns; respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and escalate matters as necessary.

  • Ensure proficiency in HRIS/Infotech systems, including data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures and ensure consistent application.

  • Update employee files to document personnel actions and support payroll, benefits, and reporting needs.

  • Review employee files and provide information to authorized individuals as required.

  • Accurately enter and maintain data related to new hires, terminations, and other personnel actions.

  • Review and verify change requests and documentation for accuracy and completeness; exercise discretion and elevate issues to ensure data integrity.

  • Ensure all HR tasks are completed accurately, on time, and with appropriate approvals.

  • Assist with onboarding processes, including reference checks, background screenings, drug testing, and new-hire documentation.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and execution of hiring and recruitment processes.
