Prudential Services Asia is seeking a senior underwriter with 8–15 years of life underwriting experience, including HNW/large-case exposure. You will manage end-to-end underwriting, assess medical and financial evidence, and coordinate with reinsurers, compliance and distribution teams to ensure robust risk decisions.

The role requires strong English communication, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work across multi-jurisdictional structures.

Qualificações

• University graduate, preferably in Business, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
• 8–15 years of life underwriting experience, with at least 4 years in HNW/large case underwriting.
• Professional qualification in Life Insurance e.g., FLMI, ALU, etc.
• Experience dealing with Reinsurers, Compliance, Legal and Distribution teams.

Responsabilidades

• Underwriting Execution: End-to-end underwriting assessments for Bermuda-based policies within authority.
• Underwrite complex HNW/UHNW cases, multijurisdictional structures and large sums.
• Conduct medical and financial underwriting, including wealth/funds source assessment.
• Assess medical evidence and determine underwriting outcomes.
• Define and manage evidence strategies for complex cases.
• Ensure decisions are documented and align with guidelines and regulations.
• Support claims adjudication and post-issuance underwriting alignment.
• Identify underwriting risks and monitor portfolio performance.
