Job summary

Wee Poh Construction Co (Pte) Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead high-rise building projects. You will mentor professional and technical staff, coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities, and drive projects to successful completion.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of relevant experience, CPAS Tier B, BIM Management and DfSP certifications, and a proactive, results-driven mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Singapore PE Board recognition preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing high-rise building projects with 2 completed cycles.
• CPAS Tier B certificate of accreditation.
• BIM Management certification and DfSP (Design for Safety Professional) certification.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and results oriented with proven building-industry track record.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Able to lead the project team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to top management, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
• Oversee implementation and completion of construction projects on time, within budget and to quality.
• Lead and manage a team of professional and technical staff for planning and execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure all activities comply with local codes, safety regulations and healthcare facility requirements.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor budgets and resource use, implementing cost-control measures.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to meet goals.
