Job summary

GMP Technologies seeks a Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow to anchor the hospital-based research division in Singapore. You will formulate health services research ideas, collaborate with healthcare professionals, secure funding, and guide junior researchers.

Applicants should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Nursing/Medicine or related; strong HSR and statistics background; proficient in Python or R with ML exposure; expect both research and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD and/or Degree in Nursing / Medicine or related discipline.
• 4-5 years of experience in medical research is a plus.
• Expertise in health services research (HSR) and applied statistics, with experience in study design, data analysis, and outcome evaluation.
• Strong background in developing and implementing data-driven solutions for healthcare improvement, with proficiency in AI methodologies (e.g., machine learning, predictive modelling) where applicable
• Proven ability to independently manage and execute projects across diverse health services domains, from conceptualization through to implementation, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in using machine learning and analytical frameworks to solve healthcare-related problems.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects related to health services and operational research.
• Write and review research papers, present research outcomes and develop collaborations.
• Contribute to project management and provide guidance to other healthcare worker researchers.
• Develop own portfolio of research work and projects.
• Working with PI(s) perform research grant administrative matters such as, (not limited to): variation & extension requests, submission of claims and progress reports etc.
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by reporting officer/HOD.
