Job summary

A Singapore-based global technology company has established a new Singapore R&D Competence Center focused on sensor technology and power electronics for industrial, energy, and green mobility applications.

The team is hiring a Senior R&D Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and validate analog sensor and energy meter hardware, and to collaborate with international teams across the full product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Experience in PCB-based analog electronics design with strong understanding of analog, digital, and power electronics.
Familiar with interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RS485 and PCB CAD tools like Altium or Cadence.
Basic knowledge of MCU firmware programming in C/C++ and hands-on lab testing experience.
Self-driven team player with strong problem-solving and communication skills in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop analog sensor and energy meter hardware, including PCB schematic and layout concepts.
Perform prototype testing, debugging, validation and support EMC/safety certification activities.
Collaborate with international R&D teams, universities, and research institutes on innovative electronics solutions.
Participate across the full product development lifecycle from design to testing and documentation.
