Job summary

TotalEnergies Singapore is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. The role focuses on supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax-related activities within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance or its equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA/ CPA).
• Experience handling complex and big group consolidation is a must.
• More than 5 years of relevant working experience in multi-national companies at group level.
• Prior 2-3 years of experience in big 4 accounting firms is a strong plus.
• Hands-on accounting systems experience; good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Power BI is a strong plus.
• Good knowledge of IFRS/local accounting requirements, tax rules and regulations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit the quarterly group consolidation report in CAP reporting tool and related consolidation packages.
• Responsible for monthly financial reports for DG Singapore entities with variance analysis.
• Finalize and submit statutory audit reports for DG Singapore entities.
• Submit statutory tax returns, including quarterly GST and annual corporate income tax.
• Handle daily finance operations to support business activity.
• Prepare and analyze monthly consolidated management reporting for APAC, comparing budget and rolling forecast.
• Review CAPEX and OPEX (actual vs budget) in each department and country.
• Analyze financial performance by country and identify cost drivers.
• Prepare annual budget, 5-year plan, and regular forecasting.
• Provide support to JV managers to collect required information for JV partners.
