Job summary

TotalEnergies Singapore is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. The role supports accounting operations, financial reporting, and finance-related activities within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Exposure to renewables accounting, tax, and regulatory considerations across the region is included. Responsibilities cover quarterly group consolidation, monthly reporting with variance analysis, statutory audits, tax submissions, and daily finance operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA).
• Experience handling complex and big group consolidation is a must.
• More than 5 years of relevant working experience in multi-national companies at group level.
• Prior 2-3 years of experience in Big 4 accounting firm is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems; good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Power BI is a strong plus.
• Good knowledge of IFRS/local accounting requirements, tax rules and regulations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quarterly group consolidation reports using CAP reporting tools and related packages.
• Manage monthly financial reporting for DG Singapore entities with variance analysis.
• Finalize and submit statutory audit reports for DG Singapore entities.
• Handle statutory tax submissions, including quarterly GST and annual corporate income tax.
• Oversee daily finance operations to support business activities.
• Prepare monthly consolidated management reporting for APAC, compare with budget and rolling forecast.
• Review CAPEX and OPEX (actual vs budget) by department and country.
• Analyze financial performance by country and identify cost drivers.
• Prepare annual budget, 5-year planning, and regular forecasts.
• Support JV manager with required information for JV partner.

• Prepare annual budget, 5 years long term planning and regular forecasting.
• Provide support to JV manager to gather all the information required for JV partner.
