Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research seeks a Senior Assistant Director to lead the Office of Grants Administration. The role oversees pre-award and post-award grant management, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines, and driving efficiency through digital solutions.

The candidate will work across two locations and may coordinate with multiple time zones, requiring strong stakeholder management and data analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Good tertiary degree; minimum 3 years’ experience in public sector governance/grants administration.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing operations teams.
• Proven experience in data analytics, visualisation tools and AI tools.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team responsible for day-to-day pre-award and post-award management of grants.
• Liaising with funding initiative owners to formulate, review and refine policies and processes.
• Driving innovation and efficiency through the adoption of digital solutions.
